In this symposium, we highlight the ways for participants to successfully partner with institutions around the world in order to integrate global health into child neurology practices.
The objectives include:
- Discuss various mechanisms and levels of involvement possible for child neurologists, including opportunities for those in training and early career phases.
- Identifying mechanisms of involvement for child neurologists based in higher resourced settings to partner with civil and NGO organizations in the developing world with a primary educational or clinical focus.
- Understand the perspectives of researchers in the developing world in order to build successful research collaborations.
- Providing an example of approaching research in global child neurology, including mechanisms for funding and partnership. Learning Objectives
