About This Group
The Child Neurology Society of Nigeria is an umbrella body of professionals in the field of child neurology and childhood developmental disabilities. The vision of the society is to achieve a reduction in the neurological conditions affecting children in Nigeria and by extends the sub region through the development of a pool of well-trained paediatric neurologist/ development specialist.
Since its inauguration in 2007 under the leadership of the first president Prof. Gabriel Ofovwe, the membership has grown to over 50 healthcare professionals and special educationist.
Child Neurology society of Nigeria is affiliated to the African Child Neurology Society and the International Child Neurology Society.
The Child Neurology Society of Nigeria is currently guided by Prof. Ike Lagunju (President), Dr. Uduak Offiong (Secretary) and Dr.Ihuoma Ukpabi (treasurer).
The society hosts annual conference and training workshops
