Dr. Pearlman is Director, Pediatric Residency Program at Memorial University Medical Center, Savannah, Ga. He earned his medical degree at the University of Rochester in 1993 and his Ph.D., also at the University of Rochester, in neurobiology and anatomy in 1992. Dr. Pearlman completed his residencies in Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and in Pediatric Neurology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md. and has been a full-time pediatric neurologist in Savannah since 1998 and was named program director on November 1, 2004. He is board-certified in pediatrics and neurology with special competency in child neurology
