Currently Tufts Medical Center's division director of neurocognitive disorders, Dr. Michael P.H. Stanley received his medical degree from the Tufts University School of Medicine's Maine Track Program before pursuing his adult neurology residency at the Mass General Brigham Program, and later completing a behavioral neurology & neuropsychiatry fellowship at Brigham & Women's Hospital. Writer, poet, editor, critic, and scholar, Dr. Stanley's catholic pursuits of history, ethics, philosophy, art, letters, music, and film across both the lay and academic outlets distinguishes himself as a leader in the neurohumanities not only by his own precocious generativity, but his prodigious generosity. What he is most proud of is the people he has mentored and projects he has helped them champion.
