Dr. Andrea Andrade, MD, CSCN-EEG

Dr. Andrea Andrade, MD, CSCN-EEG, is Associate Professor of Paediatrics at Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, Western University. She is currently the Division head of Paediatric Neurology, and the Director of the Comprehensive Paediatric Epilepsy Centre at Children’s Hospital/LHSC in London, Ontario, Canada. She did medical school and Paediatrics residency in Mexico, and her Paediatric Neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and paediatric epilepsy fellowships at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, and paediatric stroke at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Andrade is a leader in Canada in paediatric epilepsy, SEEG interpretation, she is co-chair of the Canadian Epilepsy Network (CPEN). Her research is focused on drug-resistant focal epilepsies, early access to epilepsy surgery, SEEG and radiofrequency ablations in paediatrics.
