He is the founder member of (PPA) Neurology Expert Group (2008) and among the pioneer supervisors of CPSP) in the subject of Paediatric Neurology (2013). He has been graced with "Neurology Advocacy Award" by Pakistan Society of Neurology (PSN), and later "Bernard D'Souza Award" by Child Neurology Society of USA in its Annual Meeting in Vancouver, BC, Canada in 2016.He remains Country Representative (ND) for Asia Oceana Child Neurology Association (AOCNA) for many years and currently serving as chair of scientific committee at AOCNA. He is actively involved in research and training activities and more than 100 publications are at his credit in various internal journals including Nature, AJHG etc. He is author and editor of a book titled “Epilepsy: Psychological Concerns of Parents” and contributor of child neurology chapters in many books.
