Erdem Simsek

Pediatric Neurologist, Ege University

Dr. Erdem Simsek currently works at the Ege University Pediatric Neurology Department in Izmir. He received his pediatrics training at Dokuz Eylul University Children's Hospital in Izmir, followed by pediatric neurology training at Ege University Children's Hospital. After completing his pediatric neurology training, Dr. Simsek worked at Hatay Training and Research Hospital for two years. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Simsek is interested in neurogenetics, pursuing a Ph.D. in the field through the Children's Genetics Department. Beyond the realm of medicine, he has a keen interest in equestrian sports and used to participate in national-level showjumping competitions as an amateur athlete.
