Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Mayo Clinic

Dr. Klaas is a consultant in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine at Mayo Clinic Children’s Center, where she also completed her residency training and chief residency. Her clinical practice includes care of children with medical complexity in the Pediatric Complex Care Coordination Clinic as well as caring for primarily adolescents with common autonomic disorders, and work in the Diagnostic and Referral Clinic. She is the co-medical director of the Pediatric Pain Rehabilitation Center, an intensive interdisciplinary pain treatment program. Her research interests focus on adolescents with autonomic dysfunction, chronic pain conditions, and functional disorders. Kelsey is also involved in medical student education as the Clerkship Director for the pediatrics clerkship at Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine.
