Dr. Sanem Yilmaz

Professor, Child Neurologist, Ege University Medical Faculty, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Neurology, İzmir, Türkiye.

Dr. Sanem Yılmaz graduated from Ankara University Medical Faculty in 2000, completed her pediatric residency at Behcet Uz Children's Hospital in 2005. She attained specialization in pediatric neurology in 2011 after finishing the Pediatric Neurology fellowship program at Ege University Medical Faculty. She received a scholarship from The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye to enhance her expertise in childhood movement disorders and collaborated with Prof. Jonathan W. Mink at Rochester University, NY. Currently, she serves as a faculty member at Ege University Children's Hospital, specializing as a general pediatric neurologist with a particular focus on pediatric movement disorders and epilepsy.
