Ajay Taranath

Women’s and Children’s Hospital

Associate Professor Ajay Taranath is a Paediatric Neuroradiologist.
He is a Senior consultant at the Women’s and Children’s hospital Adelaide since 2006.
Having graduated in India, he pursued a fellowship in Paediatric Radiology at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Australia followed by a fellowship in Paediatric Interventional radiology and Paediatric Neuroradiology at the Hospital for Sick Children,Toronto, Canada.
He serves as the Chair of the SA chapter of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists as well as the Chief of MRI at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Apart from general Paediatric Radiology, his areas of interest include Foetal, Paediatric neuroimaging as well as Post-mortem neuroimaging
