Rod Scott

Dr. Scott is Division Chief of Neurology and Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Delaware. He straddles the interface between basic and clinical science, with expertise on the care of children with epilepsy and additional cognitive and behavioral impairments. Over the last several years he has recognized the amazing opportunities afforded by conceptualizing the brain as a complex adaptive system and started research studies designed using these principles. He has published over 140 manuscripts and is the co-editor with Dr. Mahoney entitled “A Complex Systems Approach to Epilepsy: Concept, Practice and Therapy” that is currently in production.
