Nico Enslin is a paediatric neurosurgeon with a special interest in functional neurosurgery and epilepsy surgery. He is an associate professor at University of Cape Town and does part – time functional neurosurgery in private sector as well in Cape Town. His main research interest is spasticity-surgery. Nico has a keen interest in teaching and leads the functional neurosurgery firm at UCT Neurosurgery and the registrar teaching program of neurosurgical correlative anatomy and examination techniques in the department of neurosurgery at UCT. He is the continental-president for the World-Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery. Nico is the vice-chair on the education committee of the Society of Neurosurgery of SA.
