6 yr old with zellwegers syndrome and seizures
Normally formed cerebral hemispheres, brainstem and cerebellum. There is marked delay in myelination within cerebral white matter. Some myelination is seen in the internal capsules and corpus callosum, but much less than expected for 6 yr of age. There is no hyperintensity in cerebral white matter to indicate a leukoencephalopathy. There are no feature of polymicrogyria or germinolytic cysts. There is very mild prominence of the subarachnoid spaces and cerebral ventricles
