Brief information about talk:

Ion channels are critical for neuronal excitability and provide important targets for anticonvulsant drugs. Sodium channels form an important category, responsible for multiple epilepsy syndromes ranging from pharmaco-responsive epilepsies to developmental and epileptic encephalopathies (DEE). This podcast will comprise of one or two case presentations by young Pediatric neurologists from FLICNA followed by a discussion on sodium channelopathies by the expert faculty. In the end, there will be a moderated Q and A session.
