Intervention Effect of Computer Cognitive Training For Children With Adhd Based On Fnirs:a Pilot Study
Objective:To investigate the activation of brain regions and the changes of clinical symptoms and cognitive function in children with ADHD after computerized cognitive training intervention based on near-infrared functional brain imaging (fNIRS) Method :18 ADHD children received computer cognitive function training were collected from October 2020 to June 2021, 1. To compare the changes of behavioral data, cerebral cortex activation, SNAP-IV assessment ,PSQ assessment and cognitive function when the ADHD children performed the go/nogo and nback tasks before and after the intervention. Results:The accuracy rates were significantly improved when children performed the go/nogo task and the nback task. After the intervention, the fNIRS data shows the right middle frontal gyrus and dorsolateral prefrontal cortex were significantly activated . Comparing the fNIRS data before and after the intervention with the data of normal children, there was a difference in the activation of the left middle frontal gyrus, and the ß value of nogo-go after the intervention was closer to normal.Clinical symptoms, behavioral problems, and cognitive function of ADHD children are improved after intervention. Conclusion:Computer cognitive training can improve the activation level of brain regions in ADHD children and the activation level tends to be normal compared with no intervention; The clinical symptoms, behavioral problems and some cognitive functions of ADHD children were significantly improved after the intervention. It is suggested that non-drug therapy can improve the core clinical symptoms, behavioral problems and cognitive function while improving the inhibitory control function and the activation level of brain regions in ADHD children.
