As a neuropaediatrician, I have spent the last years of my professional career dedicated to the study of neurocutaneous syndromes and the neurological disorders associated with different forms of childhood cancer. My main role in the working group to which I belong at the Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona Hospital focuses on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of neurological complications that may arise in the context of the treatment of brain tumors and other types of pediatric cancer.
As a researcher of the Neurocutaneous Syndromes Unit and the Neuro-Oncology Unit, I lead different clinical studies that aim to offer a better quality of life to our patients and their families.
