Selection Process:
The ICNA Nominating Committee is tasked with making nominations for the awards. There is an open call for nominations e-blast to the ICNA membership. The process involves receipt of a nominator support letter from an active ICNA or Nominating Committee member outlining the reasons for the nomination, a written agreement from the nominee to stand for the award, and the curriculum vitae and photo of the nominee. All documents are reviewed by the members of the Nominating Committee and an anonymized, secure, electronic voting procedure is instituted to select the top 3 candidates in order of priority. The candidate nominees are then submitted to the entire ICNA Executive Board for a second anonymized electronic voting confirmation. The recipient must be an ICNA member and a child neurologist.
