Severe spasticity also has significant consequences for caretakers. It makes it more difficult to care for the patient in a number of areas including:

  • Dressing the patient
  • Feeding • Toileting
  • Exercising
  • Transferring
  • Personal hygiene
  • Bathing
  • Nursing
