About Topic:
Pediatric demyelinating disorders represent a complex and evolving landscape within neuroimmunology, often presenting diagnostic and therapeutic challenges due to overlapping clinical and radiological features. The session will emphasize variable presentations of Pediatric MOGAD, utility of consensus guidelines for diagnosis and management strategies tailored to pediatric populations side by side, differentiating from radiologic and clinical mimics, such as leukodystrophies, infections, metabolic disorders, and neoplastic processes. Through challenging case discussions and expert panel reviews, attendees will gain practical tools for improving diagnostic accuracy and optimizing early therapeutic interventions.
Learning Objectives:
o Navigate through diverse landscape of Paediatric MOGAD through intriguing case vignettes
o Outline clinical insights for precision medicine.
o Foster multidisciplinary collaboration and promote evidence-based practices to ultimately enhance outcomes for children affected by MOGAD
