[In Context] Richard Morris' Christmas lecture double-billScientists are often asked to give public lectures in the run-up to Christmas, but Richard Morris (Professor of Neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh, UK) was recently invited to deliver not one but two high-profile talks in Edinburgh during the festive season. The first, on Dec 7, 2016, was hosted by Edinburgh Neuroscience, a collection of research groups, and was entitled “Memory: why it matters and how it works”. The second was called “The making, keeping and losing of memory”, and took place on Dec 14, 2016, under the auspices of charity and membership organisation Alzheimer Scotland.
